Creative Writing Workshop grades 4th-6th

Content:  

Students will learn creative writing techniques in order to write expository, persuasive, descriptive, 

narrative and expressive writing styles.  Emphasis will be on utilizing imagination and having fun 

creating writing projects.  Each child will receive individual attention and feedback.  Class time will 

focus on specific writing prompts in a stress-free, positive environment!

                            * Requirements-- Must have at least three students in class for some projects.

                            * Tuition-- $135.00 per student for six week course covering at least three writing strands.

Book Nook Club grades 2nd-4th

Content:
Four grade-appropriate books will be assigned to read over an eight week period.  Lessons will include questions,discussion, writing and an organized craft related to the theme of each book. Students will be able to respond to literature and gain a powerful love for reading and writing! **Books can be chosen by group or by teacher!                         
                          *Requirements-- Must have at least three students for small-group discussion.
                          * Tuition-- $160.00 per student for eight week course (Books not included in price).
